Prasadi Academy

Overview

Prasadi Academy is one of Nepal's most recognized Plus Two institutions, located at Manbhawan-5, Lalitpur. Established in 1997 and affiliated with the National Examinations Board (NEB), the academy offers Grade XI and XII in Science and Management streams to approximately 1,434 day-scholar students.

Prasadi has built a formidable reputation over nearly three decades through its consistent academic results, disciplined environment, and student-centered approach. It is the only +2 institution in Nepal to have received the National Academic Excellence Award five times from the Government of Nepal — awarded consecutively in 2062, 2063, 2064, and 2065 B.S., and again subsequently — for topping all higher secondary schools in academic performance.

The academy's mission is to nurture students' hidden talents through constant guidance and integrated personality development, equipping graduates to pursue higher education abroad or build successful careers in Nepal's competitive landscape.

Programs Offered

• +2 Science (NEB) — Grade XI & XII (200 seats)
• +2 Management (NEB) — Grade XI & XII, two groups:
  • Group A: Accounts with Business Mathematics
  • Group B: Accounts with Computer Science

Admissions

Prasadi Academy accepts both online and offline applications. Admission is announced after SEE results are published, typically around July–August. Seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis once entrance results are processed.

Entrance Examination

All applicants must appear in an MCQ-based entrance test drawn from the Grade X (SEE) syllabus:

• Science Stream: Compulsory English, Compulsory Science, Compulsory Mathematics, Optional Mathematics
• Management Stream: Compulsory English, Compulsory Science, Compulsory Mathematics

Seat allocation is based solely on entrance examination results. Admissions close automatically once the required number of students is filled.

• Original and attested photocopy of SEE Admit Card
• Photocopy of Grade Sheet (or electronic copy), attested by the applicant
• Two recent passport-size photographs

Campus Life

Prasadi Academy provides a disciplined yet student-friendly campus environment in Lalitpur, designed to support academic achievement and holistic personal development. All students are day scholars — the academy does not offer boarding or transportation facilities.

Teaching Methodology

Beyond standard lectures, the academy uses practical work, group projects, assignments, and presentations as core learning tools. Role-plays, simulations, and real-life scenario exercises expose students to applied problem-solving. A structured homework policy reinforces classroom learning and develops independent study habits and time management skills.

Note: Prasadi Academy is a day-scholar institution. Hostel accommodation and bus services are not available.
