Overview
Manmohan Memorial Institute of Health Sciences (MMIHS) is a private academic institution specializing in health science education, located at Soalteemode, Kathmandu. Established in 2007 and run under the umbrella of Nepal Health Care Cooperative Limited (NEHCO-Nepal), MMIHS is named in honor of late Manmohan Adhikari โ former Prime Minister of Nepal and a renowned patriot and South Asian leader.
Affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU) for degree-level programs and CTEVT for technical certificate programs, MMIHS offers a comprehensive range of health science education spanning nursing, public health, pharmacy, medical laboratory technology, diagnostic radiography, and clinical sciences at both bachelor's and master's levels.
The institute is founded on the belief that the triangulation of education, services, and research develops technically competent, socially responsible, and internationally recognized health professionals. MMIHS also manages the Manmohan Memorial Community Hospital as a sister entity under NEHCO, providing practical clinical exposure for students.

Admissions
MMIHS admits students through TU's health science entrance examination for degree-level programs and CTEVT's process for certificate/diploma programs. Admission to all programs is merit-based.
Bachelor's Level Programs (BSc Nursing, BNS, BPH, B. Pharm, BSc MLT)
- Completed NEB +2 in Science stream (with Biology as a major subject) or equivalent from a recognized board
- Must pass the TU Institute of Medicine (IOM) entrance examination or the respective TU faculty entrance
- Minimum second division or equivalent GPA in +2
Master's Level Programs (MN, MPH, MSc Clinical Biochemistry)
- Relevant bachelor's degree in the respective health science field from a TU-recognized university
- Must pass TU's master's level entrance examination
- Work experience may be required for certain programs
CTEVT Programs (HA, Diploma in Pharmacy, CMLT, Diagnostic Radiography)
- Completed SEE or +2 (Science) from a recognized board depending on the program
- Admission through CTEVT's centralized entrance process
