With publish of the SEE result, many students are found to be confused about the minimum GPA required to study different subjects.
According to president of NEB Prof. Dr. Chandramani Poudel, to get admission in grade 11, minimum of 1.6 GPA is required. To study science, minimum of 2.0 GPA is required with minimum of D+ in English, Nepali and Social Studies and C+ in Science and Mathematics. But the Public Service Commission has made the requirement of minimum of 2.0 GPA to enter into the government job.
The students who have got low GPA can give re-exam to increase the GPA. Recently, the NEB has published that the re-exam for increasing the grade can only be given for two subjects but not more than that. This has created confusion among the students. According to the controller of examination, Krishna Prasad Sharma of NEB, he is also not sure about how this news has been published and will try to sort it out soon.
The date for re-examination has been specified to be from 26th of Shrawan, 2075 and the application form for it must be filled and submitted within 24th of Ashar, 2075.
