Overview

NCA College of Management (formerly National College of Accountancy) is Nepal's oldest and leading ACCA institution, located at Anup Marga, Min Bhawan, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu. Established in 2004 by a team of visionary professionals from diverse fields, NCA is the official partner of ACCA Global and holds Platinum Approved Learning Partner (ALP) status — the highest recognition awarded by ACCA — making it the first institution in Nepal to achieve this distinction. In over two decades of operation, NCA has produced 650+ ACCA members and affiliates working in leading organizations worldwide, including the World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), Asian Development Bank (ADB), United Nations (UN), Chaudhary Group (CG), and Dabur Nepal. NCA is also a licensed Computer Based Examination (CBE) center for ACCA in Nepal — enabling students to take ACCA exams faster without waiting for session-based exam windows — the first institution in Nepal to obtain this license.

• BBS — Bachelor of Business Studies (TU-affiliated, run in partnership with Kathmandu Merryland College) — ACCA and BBS run concurrently, completed in ~4.5 years
• DipIFRS — Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards (ACCA)
• Cert-IFR — Certificate in International Financial Reporting (ACCA)
• NFRS — Nepal Financial Reporting Standards training
• NAS for NPOs — Nepal Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit Organizations
• NFRS for SMEs & NAS for MEs — Standards training for small and medium enterprises
• IPSAS — International Public Sector Accounting Standards

Admissions

NCA runs ACCA and BBS programs concurrently — students enroll in both simultaneously and complete both in approximately 4.5 years. ACCA admissions are open year-round with the next intake closing June 30, 2026. BBS admissions close September 16, 2026.

ACCA / FIA

• No minimum academic requirement for FIA (Foundation in Accountancy) — open to anyone
• For ACCA Applied Knowledge level: completed +2 or equivalent from a recognized board
• Students may also join with existing exemptions based on prior qualifications (e.g., CA, CIMA, degree holders may receive subject exemptions)

BBS (Bachelor of Business Studies — TU, via Kathmandu Merryland College)

• Completed +2 in Science or Management (or equivalent)
• Management faculty students must have studied Mathematics or Economics as a full paper at +2
• Must have studied English as a full paper at intermediate level
• Required documents: transcripts, academic mark sheets, character certificates, and migration certificate

Campus Life

NCA's student-oriented campus at Min Bhawan, New Baneshwor creates a focused, professional learning environment combining in-person instruction with digital tools and regular industry engagement.

Teaching Methodology

NCA uses a blended learning approach combining in-person classes from highly qualified tutors with its own Digital Learning Management System (LMS) — a fully digital online platform providing structured course materials, recorded sessions, and exam preparation resources accessible anywhere. Every exam preparation course includes a mix of lectures, exam preparatory sessions, and revision classes.

Faculty

NCA's tutors are professionals with ACCA and CA credentials and real-world industry experience — drawn from the banking, development, corporate, and public practice sectors. The faculty includes gold-medal-winning ACCA professionals.

CBE Center

As a licensed ACCA Computer Based Examination (CBE) center, NCA enables students to sit ACCA exams on-demand rather than waiting for fixed exam sessions — significantly accelerating qualification timelines.
