Himalaya College of Engineering (HCOE)

Lalitpur · Private, Co-educational

Overview

Himalaya College of Engineering (HCOE) is a leading private engineering institution affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU), located at Chyasal-9, Lalitpur. Established in June 2000 AD, HCOE has grown into one of Nepal's top-tier engineering colleges, spanning a 19.5-ropani campus with a seven-storey main academic building and five dedicated laboratory blocks. In May 2007, HCOE became part of the KMC Educational Network — resulting in program expansions and strengthened institutional capacity. The college is governed strictly in accordance with the academic and administrative standards set by the Institute of Engineering (IOE), Tribhuvan University. HCOE's graduates have consistently achieved top scores in IOE semester examinations, earning national and international recognition. The college's Robotics Club secured 1st place (Grand Prix) in an inter-engineering college robotics competition in Kathmandu in 2065 BS, and HCOE students have represented Nepal at Tech Fest organized by IIT Mumbai, India in 2011 and 2013.
