Overview
Kathmandu College of Management (KCM) is a pioneering institution of management education in Nepal, located at Gwarko, opposite B&B Hospital, Lalitpur. Established in 1997, KCM holds the distinction of being the first college in Nepal to introduce the BBA program β originally affiliated with Kathmandu University, and since 2014 exclusively affiliated with Siam University, Bangkok, Thailand.
KCM offers internationally recognized degrees where students study in Nepal for the first six semesters and complete their 7th semester at Siam University's campus in Bangkok, Thailand β providing genuine international exposure as part of the degree itself. The college has also introduced BSc programs in Information Technology and Computer & Data Science, and offers a pathway to Macquarie University, Australia through an articulation program.
With a strong alumni network spread across the world, a dedicated Career Hub, a real-world stock trading program (Kuber Wiz), and a Center for Research Excellence, KCM has been recognized as the Best BBA College of Nepal.

Admissions
KCM uses a four-step competitive admission process designed to identify students with leadership potential, academic consistency, and ambition. Admissions for 2026 are open with inquiries closing June 16, 2026.
Eligibility
- NEB Grade 12 with minimum Grade C in all subjects
- CBSE Grade 12 with minimum 50%
- GCE A Level with minimum 3 credits across at least 3 Advanced Level courses
- GED with minimum score of 600
- Students who have completed Grade 11 and are awaiting Grade 12 results may apply provisionally
Admission Process
Step 1 β Application: Submit the application form with the following documents:
- Grade 12 and Grade 10 transcripts and certificates
- Character certificates (Grade 10 and Grade 12)
- Provisional and migration certificates
- Citizenship certificate and passport
Step 2 β Written Test & Group Discussion: Shortlisted candidates appear for a written aptitude test (quantitative ability and English proficiency) and a group discussion assessing communication skills.
Step 3 β Interview: Candidates who pass the written test and group discussion are called for a personal interview.
Step 4 β Admission: Candidates who perform well in the interview are offered admission.

Swangsri Sivakriskul Jehendar Scholarship
A need-based endowment covering a full tuition waiver for academically outstanding students from underprivileged backgrounds. Open to all Nepali citizens. Eligibility:
- Minimum 80% in Grade 10 from a government school
- Minimum 75% in Grade 12 from any school
- Strong leadership qualities and good character
- Admitted to the KCMβSiam University International BBA program
- Priority given to low-income and marginalized community applicants
Application requires the scholarship form, a personal statement, and two non-family references who can verify economic status.
KCM Merit Award
100% tuition waiver for one year, awarded to the 2nd-year student who achieved the highest grades in their 1st year at KCM.
Manisha Memorial Merit Award
In memory of Manisha Shrestha (Batch 2005β2009). Awarded since 2009 to two 3rd-year students β one each from Marketing and Finance & Banking β who achieved the highest grades in their 2nd year. Includes a 100% tuition waiver for one year.
Nirajan Memorial Merit Award
In memory of Late Prince Nirajan Bikram Shah (Batch 1998β2001). Awarded to two 4th-year students β one each from Marketing and Finance & Banking β who demonstrated the highest academic performance in their 3rd year. Includes a 100% tuition waiver for one year.
Management Appreciation Award
Annual award for a 4th-year student who has demonstrated exceptional achievement in both academics and extracurricular activities throughout their time at KCM. Includes a 100% tuition waiver for one year.
