Overview

National College of Computer Studies (NCCS) is a leading private institution specializing in Information Technology and Management education, located at Paknajol, Kathmandu. Established in 1999 and affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU), NCCS is QAA Accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Nepal — with accreditation valid from July 13, 2022 through July 12, 2027.

The college is built on the philosophy that "all-round development makes an efficient product" — integrating rigorous academic programs with sports, leadership training, value education, career counseling, and social work to develop self-confident, self-disciplined, and socially responsible graduates. Its 5-ropani campus includes specialized hospitality training facilities, computer labs, a hybrid online-offline library, and sports infrastructure.

NCCS is part of a network that includes NCCS Secondary School (Paknajol) and National Creative Co-educational School (Chandol) — also offering NEB +2 programs in Science, Management, Law, and Humanities.

Admissions

BITM (Bachelor of Information Technology Management)

• Completed +2 or equivalent in any stream, minimum Grade 'C' in all subjects
• Must pass TU CMAT (conducted by TU Faculty of Management)

BSc CSIT

• Completed +2 in Science (Physics or Biology stream), minimum Grade 'C' in all subjects
• Must pass TU IOST Entrance Exam

BHM (Bachelor of Hotel Management)

• Completed +2 or equivalent in any stream, minimum second division
• Selection based on TU entrance exam and college-level evaluation

BBM (Bachelor of Business Management)

• Completed +2 or equivalent in any stream, minimum Grade 'C'
• Must pass TU CMAT (Faculty of Management)

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application)

• Completed +2 or equivalent in any stream, minimum Grade 'C'
• Must pass TU BCA Entrance Test (FOHSS)

• Hotel Management Labs: Fully equipped specialized training kitchens, restaurant, bakery and confectionery lab, housekeeping lab, training guest room, and front office lab — supporting hands-on hospitality education
• Computer Lab: Modern computer lab with latest hardware, software, and technology for IT and management programs
• Library: Hybrid online-offline library — students can borrow physical books from the library or access digital resources remotely through the NCCS website

+2 Scholarship Exam

NCCS also conducts a 100% scholarship exam for admission to its NEB +2 programs (Science, Management, Law, Humanities) offered through its network schools. Eligible students can apply via the college's online form.
