The Bachelor in Information Technology (BIT) is ideal for those interested in learning the application of computer-based technology and making a career in the field of information technology. The program emphasizes on the topic such as computer architecture, data structures, networking, hardware, and software. The program consists of forty-nine subjects including compulsory and elective courses including fundamental of information system, programming in C, electronics devices and circuits, object-oriented programming in C++, date structure and algorithms, user interface design, microprocessor and assembly language, operating system, principle of electronic communication, operating system, embedded system programming, etc.

Admission Requirements:
Eligibility
Applicant should have completed 12 years of formal education
Applicants from any stream (Humanities, Management and Science) are eligible to join the course
Applicant should have secured at least forty-five percent in +2
Applicant should have studied Mathematics paper carrying 100 marks
Applicant who clear the entrance examination are called for the interview and the admission is granted on the merit basis. Score obtained in CMAT, +2 and interview are taken into consideration.
